Collection and processing of animal by-products
Biovast Lithuania services
UAB „Rietavo veterinarinė sanitarija“ carries out the collection, transportation, and processing of Category 1, 2, and 3 animal by-products (ABP). At all stages of its operations special attention is paid to biological safety and environmental protection, in strict compliance with the European Parliament and Council Regulations (EC) No. 1069/2009 and 142/2011, Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Lithuania Regulation No. 3D-162, and other national legal requirements.
The collection of ABP is performed using specially adapted transport vehicles that meet veterinary and hygiene standards.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ANIMAL KEEPERS
Leave the dead animal as close to the roadway as possible, cover it with a cloth or other breathable fabric. The use of plastic wrap is strictly prohibited.
