Category 1 animal fats
Category 1 animal fats are produced from Category 1 and Category 2 animal by-products collected from slaughterhouses as well as from dead animals collected from farms. The product is intended for biofuel production.
PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS:
- The fats are pressure-sterilized, safe, and stable for storage and transport;
- Colour ranges from brown to dark brown;
- Liquid at temperatures above 40 °C;
The product is supplied only in tanker trucks that comply with the requirements for transporting animal by-products.
Category 3 animal fats
Category 3 fats are produced from Category 3 animal by-products supplied only by approved suppliers. This is a stable, high-quality product suitable for use in pet food production, candle manufacturing, or as a raw material for biofuel.
PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS:
- Thermally processed;
- Clean, stable, and safe for transport;
- Colour ranges from yellowish to brown;
- Liquid at temperatures above 40 °C;
The product is supplied only in tanker trucks that comply with the requirements for transporting animal by-products.
Category 3 processed animal proteins (PAP)
Processed animal proteins are produced from Category 3 animal by-products supplied only by approved suppliers. The product is intended for use as a valuable protein source in pet food production or organic fertilizers.

A feed component;
An aquaculture feed component;

Salmon oil is produced from Category 3 salmon animal by-products obtained from approved fish processing plants. It is a natural source of fats, rich in omega-3 fatty acids and of high nutritional value.

An ingredient in pet food (especially in high-quality dog and cat food);
A feed component;
An aquaculture feed component;
An ingredient in fur animal feed;
An industrial raw material for biofuel or biogas.
PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS
Fat content: ≥ 99%;
Naturally high in Omega-3 (EPA, DHA);
Colour ranges from golden yellow to brownish yellow.
